The largest of the single phase Lepus sliding gate operators is designed for heavy industrial operation capable of opening and closing a 1600 kg, 11m gate up to 30 times per hour.
The motor has all the features of the Lepus 600, with increased motor strength and higher resistance settings for the slip clutch mechanism. This electric gate motor uses an inductive limit switch for non contact detection of end of travel, providing increased reliability for your automatic gate system.
The electric motor and slip clutch mechanism are housed within an oil filled gear box providing continual lubrication and cooling. The slip clutch allows fine adjustment to the applied forces so that your automatic gate will stop easily when meeting an obstruction. The gate motor also has a rotation sensor, so that as soon as the gate is obstructed the motor will stop and reverse; providing an extremely high level of safety.
